July govt sector salaries, pensions will be paid: Treasury allocates Rs. 117.5 bn for payments

A senior Finance Ministry official yesterday said that all payments including the July salary, pension and allowances of government sector employees will be made as scheduled. The official said that Rs.92 billion will be allocated to pay the salaries of public sector employees and Rs.25.5 billion will be set apart to pay pensions and the Treasury has already allocated the funds for the purpose.
